Elkhan Mehdiyev, RN-BSN
Elkhan has been in the nursing field for over 20 years. He began as an RN in the emergency room back in his home country and continued that here in the United States at Lutheran Medical Center at New York-Presbyterian Cornell ER. He continued his education and graduated with an RN/BSN in 2013.
Elkhan spent several years as a nurse manager in ambulatory care settings (Advantage Care Physicians), as well as an assistant nurse manager at the inpatient acute psychiatric unit. Elkhan’s experience has prepared him for transitioning to his present role as a nursing supervisor. Elkhan enjoys working in the healthcare setting and fully supports and promotes high-quality patient-centered care. He loves teaching nurses what he learned over the years in critical care settings.
