Liz Claudio

Liz is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has more than 15 years of experience with the geriatric population. As the Assistant Director of Recreation, Liz brings to the residents of The Chateau specialized Dementia and memory care programming, such as time slips, reminiscence, and memory care activities, while providing quality of life through new and engaging activities that incorporate resident’s former interests into their daily lives. Liz also assists with organizing and implementing special events and holiday celebrations for all of the residents at The Chateau, as well as assists the Director in organizing major events and supervising the volunteer programs. Liz has lived in the area her whole life and is proud to raise her 3 sons in the same neighborhood, a neighborhood whose core values are kindness, patience, and generosity. “The Chateau at Brooklyn is more than just a Rehab Facility,” Liz shared, “It’s Family.”
