Semanta graduated with a Bachelors in Community Health with a focus in Health Administration for Hofstra University in 2017. She began her career in healthcare at 16, as she spent afternoons working as a medical assistant for a private Internist and spent the weekends shadowing him. She continued to do this throughout high school and college, gaining vital experience and knowledge.

Semanta learned about various topics, from insurance verification to clinical skills, such as interpreting diagnostic reports. After graduating from college, she wasn’t exactly sure what path to follow but knew she was destined to make a difference in the healthcare world. She had no experience in Nursing Home Administration, but an offer was extended to become an Assistant Administrator, which she accepted and never looked back!

Semanta fell in love with the changes we can make happen to get individuals back to their former selves. She decided to move forward and obtain her license. After passing long-term care classes and acing the exam, Semanta became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in December 2020. A few months later, she got the opportunity to relocate to California to take on a position as an LNHA. She accepted almost immediately and spent two years learning the ins and outs of everything. It was a life-changing experience and one that I will always be grateful for!

Semanta and her husband welcomed a newborn baby boy in April 2023, and she knew it was time to make her way back to the east coast to be closer to family. Before she knew it, Moshe Katz interviewed her; the rest is history. The CareRite Team has taken Semanta in as their own from the start, and she couldn’t be more appreciative of all the love received!

The best part of her job is being able to help and be proud of the work accomplished daily. She is privileged to work with the generations of individuals who have impacted our society! She gets to lead a team of amazing professionals whose main goal is to make a difference in the lives of everyone we come across. Semanta believes we get to heal, help & rehabilitate those in need!

I am a mom to a beautiful five-month-old baby boy named Samuel & a two-year-old pittie named Nala. I like to hang out with my husband and our little family in my spare time. We spend weekends at the beach or park. We love being outdoors and going on mini trips when we can.
