Wendy Humphrey, RN, BSN

Wendy is a Nursing Home Infection Preventionist. She graduated with an AAS in Nursing from Queensborough Community College and received a BSN from Medgar Evers College. She started as a Home Health Aide in 2002 but felt like she could do more, so she became a CNA. Yet still, she knew she could contribute so much more. That’s when she made the decision to become a Registered Nurse. Wendy started as a charge nurse at The Chateau and worked her way up to Unit Manager, ADON, and now as The Director of Nursing. Her favorite part is interacting with residents. She loves caring for the residents and their families, as well as seeing their health optimized is very rewarding. She feels as though she is very motivated and passionate about her job and helping others. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling.
