How did this patient hear about The Chateau? Patient lives in the neighborhood
Details of Experience:
Mr. M came to be a resident at The Chateau as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Though he came as a short term resident, due to insurance reasons he has become a long term resident.
According to Mr. M, his stay here at the Chateau has been filled with ups and downs. When he first arrived he was uncomfortable but the nursing staff welcomed him with open arms. Everyone that he has met here has been patient and understanding. Mr. M states, “They all seem genuinely concerned about my well being. The staff does not just take care of me physically, but also mentally.”
During his stay here, he has participated in many wonderful programs including the new art therapy program. He enjoyed putting the brush to the canvas and found it to be very therapeutic. He looks forward to participating in the next art therapy session.
The physical therapy staff has also been very helpful in trying to restore Mr. M to his former quality of life. Mr. M knows he has a long road ahead of him but is very optimistic about the progress that he has already made and the results that will come over time. He is looking forward to returning home to live with his wife and falling into a routine.
“All in all, my stay here has been a positive experience. The staff has been wonderful and the care has been excellent. I am happy to have found such good care so close to home.”
