How did this patient hear about The Chateau? She was previously a patient here.
Details of Experience:
Ms. Masini was admitted to The Chateau at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for rehabilitation in result of a post-hospitalization for a vertebral fracture. Masini arrived to our community with the support of a walker, in which she was only able to walk a minimal distance without assistance. She also required max assistance with her ADLs, (activities of daily living), and was not able to apply her back brace independently.
During her stay within our community, Masini shared with our team how amazing of an experience she had while at The Chateau at Brooklyn. “I was here a few years ago for rehab when I broke my hip, when I was told I would need rehab after this fracture I knew that I wanted to come back here. The staff is really nice and helpful. When I would mentioned to them that I wanted to have a quiet room they were very quick to switch me into a private room so that I can rest after doing my therapy. The therapists are also really great and were so motivating; they really got me back to how I was before my fracture. I hope to not have to come back again, but I will definitely let my friends know how great of a facility this is.”
Masini is now set to discharge home with the ability to walk with a rollator. She has also reached the ability to perform her ADLs with modified supervision as well as apply her supportive back apparatus independently. Congratulations on your outstanding achievements, Ms. Masini! We wish you the very best in your continued healing.
