Labor Day Celebration Monday September 4th – 2:30pm – On the Patio
Labor Day honors millions of hard workers across the country. Here at the Chateau, we honor our valued employees and residents for all they have contributed to society. Enjoy some music and refreshments with the recreation team as we celebrate this special holiday.

Rosh Hashanah Party – Friday, September 15th – 2:30 pm – 1st Floor Dining Room
Please join us for an afternoon of Special Entertainment to welcome the Jewish New Year. Celebrate as we wish everyone a happy and fruitful new year, listen to the shofar, and dip apples in honey for a sweet upcoming year. Then enjoy some Live music as we celebrate the new year.

Grandparents Day Sunday, September 10th at 2:30 pm – 1st Floor Dining Room
Dear Grandparents and Grandfriends! Today we honor all of our “GRAND” residents with a special celebration with certificates, photos, and music! Please join us as we thank all the Grandparents for their infinite love and wisdom. Oh, and did you know? Grandparents are younger than ever today, with a median age of 48. More than half the grandparents in the United States are baby boomers, and about 10% have tattoos!

World Alzheimer’s Day – Thursday, September 21st
Never too early, never too late, World Alzheimer’s Day is celebrated on September 21st each year. On this day, the world concentrates its efforts on creating awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. The disease is among the most prevalent forms of dementia, a set of disorders that disrupt mental function. World Alzheimer’s Day is the perfect opportunity for us to raise our voices and find new ways of fighting the disease’s effects. The theme of 2023 focuses on risk factors and risk reduction, emphasizing their crucial role in potentially delaying or even preventing the onset of dementia. Join us at the Chateau for a day of fundraising and awareness.

As we practice proper social distancing protocols in our community, we are proud to feature modified programming to continue providing vibrancy for our residents and employees.
