Andrea Evola, AGNP-C
Nurse Practitioner

Andrea completed a Master's in Adult Geriatric Medicine in 2016 and a Master's in Nursing Education in 2010. She attended Liberty University for a DNP in Psychiatric nursing, which is in progress, and a Dermatology Fellowship, which will be completed in August 2026. She has been working in health care as an emergency room charge nurse since 1996 and has extensive experience in neuro-stepdown, rehab, stroke unit, and emergency medicine. Andrea graduated as a nurse practitioner in 2016 and began her career in primary care medicine as well as long-term care in nursing home rehabilitation. After personal loss to her mother, she served her life to long-term care. She strives to continue to treat my residents like they are her family. Her favorite part of the job is visualizing the improvements and breakthroughs they experience and leave the facility as they were prior to the reason they were hospitalized and back to their prior selves. Getting to know their families and developing a relationship with them is truly rewarding. Lastly, if any medical issues arise, being able to ascertain the causative agent or diagnosis and implement successful treatment is truly rewarding. She is still completing her doctoral degree and enjoys learning new things, for which I am awaiting a fellowship in dermatology that I can bring forth in long-term care. Of course, spending time with her family brings her joy. Andrea’s motto she lives by is “Making people smile and laugh utilizes a few facial muscles rather than a frown and anger utilizes many more, therefore it’s cheaper and more attractive to be happy and smiling when administering patient care and families.”
