She is dedicated to guiding patients through the challenges of recovery following hospitalization, with a focus on restoring their independence and mobility to ensure a safe and seamless transition back to their homes. Melissa thrives in collaborating with an interdisciplinary medical team to create individualized care plans that address each patient’s unique medical needs, goals, and progress. Her approach emphasizes fall prevention, personalized exercise programs, and patient and family education to promote a safe and supportive environment after discharge. Her ultimate goal is to empower geriatric patients to overcome the hurdles of recovery and achieve an enhanced quality of life at home.
